From Brindisi airport
Public transportation from/to the airport of Brindisi is available (6.50 €/ride).

Walking from Lecce City Terminal to downtown could be a fair distance, depending on where your accommodation is located. However, various buses connect the City Terminal to the city center sgmlecce). The staff at the Terminal can provide you with additional information on how to reach your accommodation (the Terminal office is usually open until 5:30 pm).

From Bari airport
Follow A1 highway (direction Naples), then A16 or A14 highways (direction Bari), and finally road SS16 (direction Brindisi-Lecce).
Several FS high-speed trains reach Lecce departing from Turin, Rome, Naples, Venice, Florence, Bologna and Milan. Foggia, Bari, and Brindisi are connected to Lecce by several local and national trains. Night trains with sleeping couches are also available.
Lecce train station is about 1 km far from the city center.
Since taxi rides can be quite expensive (up to 15 €, especially with luggage items), we suggest you to check with your hotel if public transportation options are available.
